Karthigai Deepam is telecast from Monday to Friday at 9pm on Zee Tamil channel. It premiered on December 5^th  at Zee Tamil channel.

Now we can see the developments which took place on July 18

Kathir, Nakshatras lover was beaten down by certain goondas arranged by Nakshatra.At that time,Deepa came there and saw the injured Kathir. On seeing him fighting for his life, Deepa arranges to take him to the hospital in the auto in which she was coming.

Deepa asks the Doctor to attend Kathir immediately and assures him that she will take all the responsibilities of kathir.Doctor admits kathir and starts the treatment.Doctor says to Deepa that Kathir is in need of O + blood for conducting the surgery.Deepa comes forward to give blood to Kathir for saving his life.Operation was successfully carried out and Kathir comes to Know about Deepas actions to save his life.

In the Meantime ,Karthik will be waiting for Kathir in the place where he was asked to come and he returns since Kathir didnot turn up as he has promised

Kathir asks apology to Deepa saying that he knows everything done by Nakshatra,Siva against Deepa in her marriage.He also asks deepa to bring Karthik to the hospital so that he can reveal all the truth to karthik.He says that he was extremely moved by Deepas introduction of Kathir as her brother to the hospital authorities.Kathir further says that now he had realised the true nature of Deepa and Nakshtra and he wants to correct himself from his wrong actions.

Ading as a twist to the above story,Nakshatra along with her goondas came to the hospital where Kathir was admitted and overhears Kathir Dialogue with Deepa.
